J'ai vérifié avec l'hôtel et il y a une cinquantaine de prises dans chaque salle. Largement de quoi brancher votre ordinateur portable donc

Hi guys,
Just wanted to check whether the conference hotel will have any facilities for the hearing impaired. I'm thinking of infrared headphones or an audio induction loop (boucle d'induction?) - the latter is usually available where you see a sign with a white line through an ear and the T symbol indicated. Not very common in France, admittedly. Or will it just be a case of sitting near the loudspeakers?  Will the workshop speakers have a microphone in fact?

Hi Moira,
Unfortunately, unless the hotel is equipped with facilities they haven't informed us of, there will be no specific facilities for the hearing impaired.
There will, however, be microphones for every session and I'm sure we can reserve you a seat near the speaker or the loudspeaker, whichever you prefer.
