I'm writing from Italy where 'best' is just normal language in tenders/RFQs. Agencies always ask for my 'best' delivery date, although they're really just asking, 'When can you get this back?'

Consider this - all other things being equal (quality, timeliness), is the value of a translation different to the end customer as a function of where it has been produced? Seems unlikely. Pricing based at least in part on utility (in the sense it is used in economics) might be the way forward.....

The hotel has more money. Partly because of the excellent quality of its sinks. As all investment literature warns, the past is no guide to future performance, but it seems a reasonable proposition that the hotel will continue to make money out of the sink (inter alia). Money you advise taking into consideration when negotiating. I think our views on this are actually quite similar.
Of course, there is a line to be drawn. No-one likes a profiteer.
