Hello,
a client sent me a .docx file and told me he needs the .sdlxliff file. Can I create one using CT?
Thanks in advance!

No, this isn't possible. You can, however:

  • send CafeTran's own XLIFF file (Project > Export > To package)
  • send CafeTran's project-based TMX file (Project > Export > To TMX memory)

In case you want to send the XLIFF file: your client can open it in Studio 2015 via Welcome > Translate single document (I've just tested this).

Note however, that normally your clients create the SDLXLIFF files that they want you to translate. There are good reasons for that (segmentation settings etc.)
