请问大家做技术稿件（中翻英）的速度大约是多少？

因为我接的 PDF 不知为何是统计不了数字的，因此无法统计字数，只能看页数。

但同时很好奇大家都是什么速度？一篇1万 或者 2万 汉字的技术稿（比如专利审查意见）大家报价时会报需要多长时间呢？

这要看你手头是不是有其他工作。如果你可以一天八小时全力以赴对付同一个项目，我想按每天3500汉字算（折合2400英文单词左右），最后再加一两天修改时间，一共五天。实际工作中，我要留出接其他工作的余地。如果客户不着急的话，就报一星期，如果着急，就报四天。

那看来我的估算差不离。谢谢以上的经验，非常宝贵

我每天只能做1500英文，时间要六小时。

If this is an image scan you won't be able to do it. However there are a number of OCR softwares out there which can help you with it.

Try to avoid quoting by time, especially when the agency appears to be in the stingy side when it comes to pricing. Their expectation of your workload on an hourly basis might be way off than what you imagine you can do/or can actually complete.

剛剛做完一份病歷中到英， 12000多單詞，也算比較技術，花了40多個小時。

做這種文件很累，受不了。不是長久之計。

一天3000到6000字，熟悉的领域 Aug 2, 2014

熟悉的领域可以做的很快。不熟悉的领域要看难易程度，估计也就3000多字吧。
