Hello!

I am looking for jobs of translation (Chinese-English/ English-Chinese). I am currently a Ph.D. student in consumer psychology area. Having some questions here:

How much you ask for per English word for translating Chinese to English?

How many Chinese characters could you finish in an hour when you first started working in this area? Suppose the topic is general, or within some particular areas.

Thank you very much! _/\_

中译英的翻译费一般应按中文字数算吧。

翻译速度因人而异,不必求同。

翻译速度跟熟悉程度因人而异。这个人可能比那个人快一倍,换个题材两个人可能差不多。

我觉得您可以找几篇稿子,试着翻译,然后统计一下自己花了多久
