What amazes me is the car chase went on for about an hour. The kid truly lacked training on #4 and #9.

Steve,

KTLA report from the ground Nov 17, 2014

http://dailycaller.com/2014/02/22/chinese-student-to-get-us-justice-seminar-after-leading-cops-on-122-mph-chase-in-bmw-video/

From the video ...

...

Officer: All three are international students ... at the University of California, Irvine. And the driver will be booked at the local jail.

Reporter: Someone in the car was under the impression they were going to Laguna Beach. Is that about accurate?

Officer: I believe so. That’s just uh, they say … the passengers stated that. I guess they were going in the wrong direction. (chuckle)

Reporter: And so we’re what? … a hundred and something miles from Laguna Beach at present?

Officer: Uh, probably...

Reporter: Law enforcement telling us that the driver says he was unaware he was being pursued. Hard to imagine. There were 12 CHP officers in pursuit at one point during that chase…

From the news story ...

Zhou was “weaving in and out of traffic, using the right shoulder to pass vehicles and driving at speeds up to 122 mph,” according to a California Highway Patrol press release obtained by the Los Angeles Times.
