Well, this may sound a bit weird but here it goes anyway.
Most of my clients pay me via bank transfer, my preferred payment method. Once in a while, however, I also get paid through PayPal. There isn’t much money left on my PayPal account, a bit more than $800 or so, but since I have no plan to buy anything from overseas in the near future, I would like to withdraw most of the money, i.e. $720, to my Chinese bank account.

The problem is that I’ve been told by the bank that they can’t deposit money from PayPal for the time being, so I was wondering if any of you could help me with this.
This favour would require you have an OVERSEAS* PayPal account and a Chinese bank account. I will send you $755. Then you subtract $35 from it and send the rest to me (the rest may be less than $720 as PayPal will take a bit from the sum received. That’s fine though) via a Chinese bank, either in RMB or USD. Thirty-five dollars is the amount PayPal charges Chinese users for each withdrawal and now I give it to you as a token of my appreciation.

*PayPal doesn't allow transactions between China user accounts! Shame on it!

从PayPal提款大致意思就是PayPal向你指定的银行账户付款。不明白为什么你国外的客户可以向你国内的账户汇款，但PayPal不能。是不是有什么地方弄错了？
PayPal可以向国内多家银行转账，国内几家大银行都可以。一家不行可以换另一家。
我印象在不同PayPal帐号之间转账时有费用，大概是4%。从PayPal提款，除了PayPal自己收的35美元外，中间还可能产生中间银行费用。少的话是10-12美元，有时也可能更多，当然也有不收的。这和撤资的银行和金额有关。具体多少，转一次就知道了。

你可以把国内招行账号和英文名称加到你的PayPal提款账户上，取款时，电汇到中国的银行，过两天钱就会到你的招行账户，基本上每次电汇35美元加5元手续费。很方便的，没有必要找其他人帮忙。

我一直用招行的，他们的网上结汇也很方便，无需到网点办理。我月底左右paypal也有一笔账会到帐，如果你觉得麻烦我可以帮你转一下，然后汇给你。

我上次有一笔钱paypal转汇到了建行，银行工作人员说，paypal汇款的备注没有说明是“翻译费”，因此他们没法给我汇入。后来我说是第一次用，能否通融一下，因为钱不多（一千多美刀吧），他们就帮我处理了。后来就再也没用过建行。
实际上，国内四大行处理的paypal转账每天应该都有的，但严格点的银行会要求提供翻译合同等正规文件，到柜台办理入汇手续，非常麻烦。招行这方面做的比较好。

問題是我這裡沒有招商銀行的分行。昨天致電中國銀行，他們說凡合法的境外匯款均可接收，但我問及 PayPal，他們又含糊其辭，好像不是那麼確定了。我擔心的是費了一番周章，結果手續費花了，錢還是轉不過來，太虧了，所以想找一個穩妥之法。

我等下還是去中國銀行開個戶頭，姑且試試。

我之前一直用中国银行提款，去年（阴历今年）还可以的。不过，因为 PP 扣款太多，我现在已经改为让客户直接把费用汇入我的银行账户了。

我的是paypal国际版账户，互相之间应该可以转账的吧？你先试试中国银行账户，不行的话我再帮你转。

Reading between the lines(and from my own experience with how PayPal works in the U.S.), in order to transfer funds from PayPal, one needs to do at least 3 things on the PayPal side ...
1) Register
2) Verify identity
3) Link bank account (or bank credit/debit card) to PayPal
Of course, there's also the important step of activating/enabling the online banking feature at one's own bank ...
Normally, you need to activate the online banking service at your bank, log in to online banking and then enable the online payment function.
