================================================== Translation into English, as requested by local authorities: Hello Valéria, I believe your English is better than the poor Italian that I still remember. I have never worked on Illustrator because I translate on PDF files using Infix. I developed a walk-through of the process, however now I'm not sure which language would be better for you: in English: http://www.lamensdorf.com.br/translating-a-pdf.html in Brazilian Portuguese: http://www.lamensdorf.com.br/traduzindo-pdf.html If I had translated these into Italian, maybe nobody would understand a thing.

Hi José Henrique, I will try the program. Thank you very much! Just another question: do you know how to install it in Linux or if does it run in Windows 8? Thanks again in advance. Valeria | | | Linux & Win 8 | Sep 16, 2014 |
Valéria, Two flavors I've never tried in my life are Linux and a Macintosh. In its days, the Apple II provided enough of a challenge, and the PC/Windows have replaced it sufficiently ever since. I still use Windows XP, and will keep using it as long as Microsoft lets me. See more Valéria, Two flavors I've never tried in my life are Linux and a Macintosh. In its days, the Apple II provided enough of a challenge, and the PC/Windows have replaced it sufficiently ever since. I still use Windows XP, and will keep using it as long as Microsoft lets me. I have downgraded two notebooks, one from Vista, another from Win 7, to Win XP, and their performance improved as if one removed an entire ton of steel from the trunk of a Ferrari. Last week I got to deal with my wife's brand new Acer notebook, factory-fitted with Windows 8.1. First of all, I'll have to demolish that e-shopping mall (buy! buy! buy!) that completely covers all useful computer applications that may reside there, or that I have installed already. The processor/memory are about equivalent to what I have on my desktop (with XP), however Win8 is visibly slower, maybe on account of the pervasive dazzling graphics. From the Infix home page at the bottom right, the answer to both your questions seems to be YES. For Linux, it allegedly runs on Wine, not sure whether Chardonnay or Merlot would be the most suitable.

Thx again! I didn't see the Windows 8 in the PC sistem requirements I'll try with that. Other way, I'll have a cup of Wine...
