If you want to translate art, then maybe you can consider buying Fluency as a CAT tool - it costs 15 $ per month and, if you don't need it, you can stop your subscription. You can test it for 14 days. Maybe it is going to be presented during the next education week mid March at ProZ (and maybe they offer a subscription bonus).
And maybe you can translate some of the copy rights free literature in your spare time, if you still have some, to present it to the editors or on your websit... I guess you can download them from manybooks.net or at getfreebooks.com or others (you can upload the pdfs, align them and build translation memory).
But translating art is wastly different from other translations. If you have some spare time, you can consider doing some other jobs besides translating that my build your experience and relationships that my eventually result in gaining new clients.

That is true, however, I can't help but being impressed by someone who can translate or write poetry. If nothing else, it communicates that you are a very good writer.

The one I know runs largely on volunteers, and I translate small things for free, but they usually pay a bit for their big summer catalogue each year.
Some of the small texts are very easy - opening hours and newsletters, short introductions to exhibitions that come and go. Trados almost does those for you - anything that is slightly 'same procedure as last year'.

However, there are often profiles of artists and sometimes really specialist papers about the works and techniques - I get the museum secretary to help with those if necessary. And of course I use Trados and Multiterm to keep track of terminology.
Sorry - I forgot that Mulititerm does not come with the Studio trial pack. In fact my employer at the time paid for my first Multiterm!
Other museums get professional translations through agencies. (One agency that I translate for sponsors translations for a museum.) Agencies have also sent me work about design and architecture, because they knew I did translations for the museum, and the money there is as good as anywhere else. Design and art-craftsmanship are admittedly not quite the same as fine art, but that is where the paid work is...

I apologize for my poor english.
Maybe you could choose more basic source texts. As a client, I would'nt like to spend too much effort to read the translation: it would become a too demanding way to make my an opinion, I guess. I think, there is a balance to find between too basic and too demandingly. Avoid everything that could make potential clients feel insecure.
I have no sample in my profile, but I definitely would'nt choose poetry.
