Thanks in advance

Unhiding context in HTML preview May 26, 2015

Hello,

You can do this in several ways:

1) Copy to Excel format and use Multilingual delimited text filter (using Import with Options command) to import the file. Then set up the non-translatable column as Context. The context will be visible above the preview window. You should consult the documentation or Kilgray's videos how to do this.

2) Copy to a text file (using Notepad++ or some other more or less advanced pure text editor), then use Regex text filt

This option involves writing regular expressions which may be somewhat complex.

I only tried with the first one.

The problem is it is a txt file with strings, that look like:

101000=赠送
101001=您搜索的玩家不存在或不在本王国中
101002=是否赠送 {0} 给 {1}?
101003=礼包将以邮件形式发送给对方!赠送礼包不会影响您自身购买礼包。
101004=赠送成功!
101005=我向你赠送 {0}
101006=亲爱的领主大人,您的朋友{0}向您赠送了{1}(价值{2})。礼包内容如下,记得要感谢您朋友的慷慨哦!
101007=来自{0}的礼物
101008=已赠送
101009=您已向{0}赠送了礼包,无法再次赠送相同礼包给同一个领主

When you copy-past it into the excel file, all of it appears in the first column, as a result I cannot use "Multilingual delimited text filter". Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Good evening,

You can do as suggested in the previous thread - convert your text to a table in Word (= as separator), then copy the table to Excel, and finally importing it into memoQ using Multilingual delimited text filter.

Best regards,
Stanislav
