"Kid's" means you have one child. Is that correct?
"Every child in Ireland is entitled to free, state-run primary and post-primary education. Attendance at full-time education is compulsory for all children between six and sixteen years of age."
State education in Ireland is very good.

The salary on offer sounds low if you need to support a family on it.
Looking at your profile, and the valuable skills you offer, I'd say you're worth 50 to 100% more than they're offering. You would struggle to make ends meet.

That said, it is well known that software engineers and related jobs are in big demand, and that firms are finding it difficult to recruit good people. Maybe your prospective employer would be willing to negotiate.
It might be interesting for you to put in a counter-proposal, describing your qualifications and skills and stating the salary you would expect.
