Hello all! Your nosey fellow translator need to take a short break and so would like to know what do you actually see from your workplace window. Post a pic, if you want to!

To post a picture: subscribe to an image host provider (i.e.: photobucket), upload the image, copy the IMG Code and paste it in your message here on Proz. Here's mine, taken from the studio balcony in the back of the flat. Quite relaxing view, I have to admit! (Camera: Fuji FinePix S5600)

Nothing spectacular Sep 17, 2007

The room I use as my home-office overlooks the garden which is nice and quiet. Usually, there's nothing spectacular to see out there but once I looked up from my translation and saw this rainbow so I grabbed the camera and made this snapshot from my window:

Rainbow

Not as amazing as yours... Sep 18, 2007

But I love the unpolluted sky of my port city, and seeing the coconut palms dancing with the wind...

Two directions... Sep 18, 2007

(I can see the other side of the Rhine but not the river itself from my office window).

In a few months the old house will be gone and we'll be moved into the new house - which is a bit higher up and has a better view of the Rhine

OK - it took me a while to get the hang of how to get the pictures in there, but I think I've done it now.

The Andes Sep 18, 2007

Not exactly my workplace but from the room next to mine.

This is how the Andes look the next morning after a day of rain in Santiago. Now they have much less snow though, but they are still beautiful.

Uf, the photo doesn't show...it's a pity.

What I can hear is better than what I can see... Sep 18, 2007

From my terrace I can see the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises of Madrid and I can hear (see a little) all the things that happen in the Atletico de Madrid Stadium: not only people screaming during a football match, but also concerts and parties!

I still remember Bono's voice or Mick Jagger's here by my side, as if they were singing for me only! (sorry, have no photos)
