New "Mobile" field in freelancer profiles

As many of you know, this year effort is being put into optimizing ProZ.com services for view in mobile devices. This includes user interface improvements in the ProZ.com website (forums, home-page, login page, among others), as well as the release and expansion of ProZ.com Mobile.

Dear all,

As many of you know, this year effort is being put into optimizing ProZ.com services for view in mobile devices. This includes user interface improvements in the ProZ.com website (forums, home-page, login page, among others), as well as the release and expansion of ProZ.com Mobile.

As part of these efforts, and to be able to continue working on improvements in line with specific user needs, a new "Mobile" field has been enabled in freelance profiles allowing everyone to report mobile-related information. Information reported in this "Mobile" section --mobile devices you use and operating systems running on those devices--will only be visible to the profile owner and site staff, allowing staff to evaluate mobile user needs and work on tools and opportunities designed exclusively for such devices and operating systems.

Reporting mobile information in your profile should take less than a minute. Just click here to visit the "Mobile" section of your Profile Updater, click on "Change" to add new device type and operating system combinations, and save the changes by clicking on "Save and update profile" at the bottom of the page. That's it.

If you prefer not to report such information, that's ok too. "Mobile" data will not be taken into account for profile completion.
