SDL MultiTerm 2009 SP4 and Winalign

I recently installed the SDL MultiTerm 2009 SP4 (with a lot of difficulty) and have now found that SDL Trados 2007 Winalign and S-Tagger for FrameMaker are not working correctly.
For S-Tagger, I managed to find a way round the problem by saving as RTF instead of TTX. However, I am completely stuck with Winalign. I have created my project (rtf files) OK, saved it OK, but when I go to export the project in TMX format, so as to import it into my Version 2009 termbase, Winalign immediately cra... See more

As SDL Trados 2009 does not have Winalign, only SDL Trados 2007, I cannot see how to get round this one. To say it is inconvenient is an understatement!
Has anyone else come across this problem or even better, found a solution?

WinAlign crashes at export May 16, 2011

The smae thing has happened to me. I have tried repairing the installation of Trados 2007, re-starting the computer, creating new projects, etc, etc. I am euqally frustrated!

I've just encountered the same problem. Is there any more information now about this bug?

OK, I found out now that a workaround is possible with an export to TXT format and an import in Workbench where you can export to TMX then.
