Dear all,

This is the first time I see this error on Trados:

Il carattere '.', con valore esadecimale 0x00, non è valido. Riga 33334, posizione 43

do you know how I can solve the issue?

Hex editor Mar 6, 2015

Assuming Trados chokes on a source file (probably some type of XML, where 0x00 is not allowed), try locating and removing the "NULL character" with a hex editor.

(And if you don't reinsert the 0x00 manually in the target file, problems may or may not occur down the line.)

What is strange to me is that the source file is a Word.

What do you think about it?

If it's a .docx file, it's basically also an XML file.
