I have a client who wants to work via Crowdin (www.crowdin.com), an online CAT tool.

Since I would prefer to work in SDL Trados Studio, I was wondering whether it would be possible to translate the files in Studio and then upload the translation to Crowdin, so that the client’s proofreader could review the translation there.

The original files are in DOCX format, so my intended workflow was as follow:

1. Convert the DOCXs to SDLXLIFF using Studio
2. Create a project in Crowdin with the SDLXLIFFs
3. Translate the SDLXLIFFs in Studio
4. Upload the translated files to Crowdin
5. Proofread the translated files in Crowdin
6. Download the reviewed files and import them to Studio
7. Generate the final DOCXs

Unfortunately, Crowdin doesn’t support SDLXLIFF files, although XLIFF files are supported.

Any ideas? Has anyone faced the same issue?

Thanks a lot!
