Hi,

I have a serious problem with Trados. I was working on a large project using Trados Studio. All of a sudden, when I tried to open it again, it showed an error message: ServiceVersionNotCurrent -65.

I have contacted SDL and chattedw ith one of its staff, but she was not so helpful because, LATER, she said she was not from techinal team.

I have tried to fix this problem using the proposed solutions, in vain.

I have sent several e-mails to SDL to ask for help, but had no replies except an automatic reply from one of its staff saying "I am now out of office until 28th April....).

SDL gives no feedback that can realistically solve this problem, while I need to use Trados right now for delivery of translation.

Is there anybody who solved this problem?
It would be highly appreciated if you could help me.

Thanks.
Hyuk

If you need help... Apr 24, 2015

.. the place to go is the knowledgebase where you can also log a support case for licensing and installation issues, or the SDL Community or here... or of course use your support contract if you have one. But there is no point calling sales numbers and hoping for the best

In this case it may be related to a problem that was fixed in an update to Studio 2014 so it would be useful to know what version you are using when you post?

But the best solution is probably to log a case via the solution finder. Go to the Knowledgebase;

http://kb.sdl.com

Then go to the tab called Solution Finder ( http://kb.sdl.com/?cid=23&tab=sf ) and now go here;

Download & Installation Problems
- I use SDL Trados Studio and/or SDL MultiTerm 2009, 2011 or 2014
-- The installation went fine but now I get an error message etc
--- The problem occurs in (pick the appropriate tool/s)
---- None of the articles resolved my problem (if they didn’t!)

Follow the route for your problem and if there is no answer that helps by the time you get to the end you'll be presented with a form to contact support. Complete all the fields in the form making sure your email address is entered correctly or nobody will be able to get back in touch with you.

Also use the Chrome browser to log the case if you have it; you'll get more success in completing the form.

Regards

Paul
