Multiterm 2009 running on Maverick

Hello
I'm trying to use Multiterm (creating a Multiterm termbase from an excel file) on my MacBook / Parallels. However at a certain point it states I cannot proceed as there is no Excel.
I use Office Excel for Mac, but it seems ther eis no interaction between Office per Mac and Multiterm/Trados Studio.

How can I manage and solve this issue?

You need to have MS Excel installed in your Windows PVM May 29, 2015

Multiterm Convert requires Excel libraries in order to do the conversion and can't find them in your Windows PVM, this is why you get this error.
The same applies BTW to the Open Exchange app "Glossary Converter".

Excel for Mac uses completely different code, which cannot be used by a Windows application.

I think I'll have to install Office (at least word and excel) in the VM.
