Praparation of files for non CAT user

I need to work on a project with a linguist that does not have Studio (or any CAT tool at all).

I know it is possible to prepare the files in a way that they can be imported in the TM.

I am not sure about the process.

Is there anybody who can be so kind to tell me the steps?
