SDL trados error message to be explained: can't generate doc file?

I was surprised with this message when I tried to review the my translation. The same message appeared also when I tried to " save as target" and get doc file. Kindly, I need explanation of such error and how to correct it. Is it a bug?

msge: "messing bookmark end tag with name: bookmark1. Writing to Word document is not possible."

I need your generous help please.

Check to see if you're missing any tags in the target segments. click on F8 to verify your document.

Thank you for your reply. Verification error messages are quite different. I came across them once. This one is different.
