Hello all!
Do you know of any program, whether within the UK or elsewhere in Europe, which offers an MA in translation from more than one language into English at a time? Specifically, Italian and Spanish or French and Spanish or French and Italian into English?
Thanks so much!

I did my MA there fairly recently in German + Spanish into English. They certainly had French on offer as well, can't remember if they had Italian.
Edit: Yes, they do have Italian!
The core modules involve translation from either one or two main translation languages, chosen from Arabic, French, German, Italian, Polish and Spanish

I did my translation postgrad there, from French and Italian into English. Was a good course, ten years ago now - the most useful part, obv apart from the actual piece of paper, was the work experience they could organise and the good advice about the various EU and UN institutions.

Hi I'm currently doing the part-time distance learning MA in Translation Studies with the University of Portsmouth which allows you to do either 1 or 2 specialised translation options (ie in a specific language either into or out of English). I think it's also offered full-time. I'm quite enjoying it. best wishes Natascha

Heriot Watt university's MA in interpreting and translation; I think it offers all those combinations.
The course coordinators etc. would be happy to speak to you about it I'm sure. And there are a lot of proz users who've taken that course. It ranks pretty high in the tables.
