The National Council on Interpreting in Health Care is pleased to announce its 1st Annual Membership Meeting to be held Saturday and Sunday, June 30 and July 1, 2007 in Chicago. This event is a meeting of the NCIHC's multidisciplinary membership toward fulfilling its mission: to promote culturally competent professional health care interpreting as a means to support equal access to health care for individuals with limited English proficiency. There will not be
numerous powerpoint presentations or lectures; instead, this will be an opportunity to engage in IN-DEPTH discussion of issues critical to the healthcare interpreting field.

Lodging accommodations may be made with registration through an arrangement with our host site, or individuals may choose to make their hotel reservations. All pertinent information will be included in the registration form.
