You seem to be disappointed and or angry about my having awarded the points to an answer other than your own. I must admit that it seems strange to me that the asker, who in principal knows too little about the term to find an answer himself, is expected to grade the responses. I made my judgement, therefore, on the basis of my own research and the term that I finally decided to use in my translation. Regarding my note: I did indeed add the note AFTER closing the question. I have never asked a question before and thought that my comment was going to be added to the ProZ glossary, not to this thread. I appologize if I have offended you in some way, and extend to you my appreciation for the information you posted.

'Integraalmeting' is a photographic term that refers to metering where the measured light comes from the every part of the image. The most common variant of this type of metering is actually 'centre-weighted metering', where most of the measured light comes from the centre area of the image.
Other possible types of metering include spot metering, multi-spot metering and and matrix metering.
