Very good question. I once wrote a note to a woman saying, "I'd like to see you after class sometime." She returned it with an 's', "I'd like to see you after class sometimes." The difference was enough for me to give up on her.

in Bahasa, sometime is suatu waktu, whereas sometimes is kadang-kadang.
you also have some time (two words)and it means beberapa/banyak waktu.

Let\'s have dinner together sometime next week (mari makan malam bersama suatu waktu di minggu depan)
I sometimes go jogging in the morning (saya kadang2 lari pagi)
I\'m afraid it will take sometime to repair your computer (mungkin akan memakan beberapa saat untuk memperbaiki komputer anda)
