Operating Margin PLI (TNMM)
An arm’s-length range is a set of values, computed using the selected PLI, that are derived from each
comparable uncontrolled taxpayer. Since it is impossible to identify and adjust for all of the material
differences that are identified between the comparables and the tested party, a statistical technique is
used to improve the reliability of the analysis. Specifically, an inter-quartile range has been constructed
in which the upper and lower 25% of the values have been discarded. The same financial indicator
associated with the tested party has been compared against the inter-quartile range. The results of this
comparison are displayed below.
