Il semble que le BACs soit un système propre au Royaume Uni. Je ne sais pas si un tel système existe en France ou en Amérique du Nord. voici quelques infos:

The Bankers Automated Clearing System (BACS) is owned by the UK's major banks and building societies and is responsible for the automated processing of Direct Debits, Direct Credits, Standing Orders and other inter-bank payments.

BACS Direct Debit is the simplest way for BUSINESS (‘XYZ’) to collect regular payments from their customers. It saves time, reduces both the costs of collections and bad debts, improves customer retention, puts cleared funds directly into XYZ bank accounts and allows the business to predict future cash flow.

BACS Direct Credit enables XYZ to make payments by electronic transfer directly into bank or building society accounts. Direct Credit is mainly used for paying wages and salaries. However, payment files can also be sent to BACS for supplier payments, pensions, employee expenses, insurance settlements, dividends and refunds

Fragesteller: Merci Phebe. Existe-t-il une traduction française pour ce terme?

Zustimmung Tony M: I dont' think there will be a translation as such, it's a sort of system for virements and processing TIPs, but much MORE than JUST that. Translator's explanatory note probably required.
