Merci Tony, je n'aurais pas su deviner. La "xylographie" est le nom de la technique employée. Le résultat imprimé est une estampe, mais comme il peut y avoir différent supports d'impression, il est probablement bon de préciser la technique utilisée.

Ah, je ne sais pas s'il existe un terme spécifique pour les papiers peints... J'aurais pensé à "papiers xylographiés" mais je ne trouve pas grand'chose sur Internet... Il est vrai que, pour les papiers peints, c'est une technique qui s'est perdue (ou presque) il y a deux siècles... |

I am sure of WHAT it is: paper printed from (originally wooden) printing blocks
I am less sure of the FR term: certainly, one usual translation for a (printing) block is cliché, but I have a sneaking feeling that these particular types of wooden printing block probably have a special name, though so far I have been unable to find it.
Perhaps that will help you a little in your research...
