Pardon de proposer une nouvelle réponse mais celle que j'avais donnée initialement était, après mûre réflexion, fausse dans ce contexte.
La définition donnée par Wikipédia est trompeuse et je pense qu'elle n'est pas applicable dans ce cas-ci, d'où ma proposition.
On pourrait dire par exemple que le Père Noël est un "factoïde", car c'est une pure invention, mais il est présenté comme une réalité aux enfants. Le plus simple est encore de dire que c'est une personnage imaginaire/fictif.
