y aurait-il un terme plus exact ?

The oil in the bearing housing must be topped up before the water jet unit is operated.

Corps de pallier pour moi est une vision interne d'un organe mécanique fixe, supportant et guidant l'arbre..
Et logement de roulement est le "receptacle ou vient s'encastrer le corps du roulement.
