I have to translate random little descriptions like this and I don't have any images or any references to help... that is probably why I am having a hard time doing it... Annie Doran: 3:43pm Jan 29, 2008: Stéphanie, traduirais-tu le titre en Français?? Flip toss set... Stéphanie Soudais: 3:54pm Jan 29, 2008: Je ne sais pas Annie, il y a certainement moyen de trouver une expression sympa en français, mais je n'ai pas d'idée. D'un autre côté, "Flip toss" pourrait aussi être conservé, il y a tellement de jeux ui gardent leur nom anglais maintenant.... Stéphanie Soudais: 3:57pm Jan 29, 2008: En fait, il vaudrait mieux poser une question à part pour "flip toss"

Erklärung: Maybe you shouldn't look for "aero toss", but "aero ball". Meaning the ball is filled with air instead of rubber or anything else. Then you have something like "balle à air rebondissante/balle creuse rebondissante".
As I understand it, this set is made of 2 molded scoops (probably in plastic) to catch and toss 1 ball.
These scoops make me think of "chisteras" in "pelote basque".
I would translate "flip toss", or try (or create a new French name), since as it isn't clear for you, it will mean nothing to a French. Could "flip toss" have the meaning of "renvoi" or something like that ?
Sorry not to answer directly to your question, but I hope this helps.

The scoops are seen in blue plastic. Maybe I would say "corbeilles". It makes me think of the Basque game "pelote basque"

I think aero ball = foam ball = balle en mousse
