| | | more on intent to treat | Erklärung: This analysis does not, as its name would seem to indicate, pertain to the analysis a treatment plan or of an intended treatment. Rather, it refers to the statistical evaluation of data from clinical studies. See below:
intent-to-treat analysis: (engl.)

The method of including all randomized subject's data into an analysis, regardless of compliance, is know as an "intent-to-treat analysis". While it may seem logical to exclude non-compliant subjects, restricting the analysis to compliant subjects can lead to biased results. If non-compliance is in any way related to outcome, restricting analysis could misrepresent differences between treatment groups. If subjects are non-compliant due to failure to improve, side effects, or any other factor that is related to outcome, the result may be misrepresented. Although the intent-to-treat analysis is used by most clinical trials conducted today, there are times when it may not be appropriate. In situations involving treatment crossovers which were not planned, systematic, or incorporated into the study design, an intent-to-treat analysis may be inappropriate. The choice of statistical procedure depends upon the nature of the outcome variable. Regardless of the analytic approach, the better the subject compliance to the study procedures, the more reliable and valid the data will be.

| Analyse des Behandlungsplanes oder der beabsichtigten Behandlung
Erklärung: intent=jur. wahre Bedeutung, Sinn (Gesetz), Absicht--auch: Ziel, Zweck, Plan
you have to see what fits best your context. Contrary of the answer you got
on your first questionm, I would translate it.
Good luck,
