I just wanted if anyoone of you know what the difference it between HYPERPIGMENTAITON VS HYPOPIGEMENTATION.
I couldn't find any reference.
I would translate Hyperpigementaion with HYPERPIGMENTIERUNG.But what about the other one.

H. ist eine gesteigerte Färbung der Haut durch vermehrte Bildung von Pigmenten (Hautfarbstoffe). Hyperpigmentiert ist z. B. ein Muttermal oder ein Leberfleck. Es kann aber auch die Folge einer Störung im Stoffwechsel sowie nach Arzneimitteleinnahme (z. B. Zytostatikum, Cortison) sein. Das Gegenteil von H. ist Hypopigmentierung

hyper vs. hypo


Explanation:
When I'm not mistaken, these prefixes come from greek and they mean little (hypo) and much (hyper) (or under- and over- such as underpigmantation and overpigmentation)
This in case you didn't know the difference
