Schiffe, Segeln, Seefahrt / Surfboating/Brandungsbootrudern | | Englisch Begriff oder Satz: the call | Was könnte "call" in den folgenden Kommentaren bedeuten? (Ich tippe auf "Geschrei".)
1) Dieser Kommentar bezieht sich auf den Zieleinlauf der Führenden:
"They are flying! The boys from Avoca Beach, on the central coast of New South Wales, ***ease off the call***. Their hard work is definitely rewarded and it ends up a jog to the pole to win the first semi final."
2) Diese Kommentare werden nach dem Start abgegeben:
"Up to the cans the first time, and they will turn hard right around the can. Here they go. First run of three hundred metres completed."
"***Restart the call*** it’s exactly that."
