Zustimmung sonia meher: This seems to be the closest equivalent of the source word. However i wonder that can we use the word "Tatolna" with "Shareer"? How wud it be if we say "Tatolkar talaashi lena"? Anyways, i found ur translation most appropriate. Good work

छूकर तलाशी, थप्पी लगाकर तलाशी


Erklärung:
Somehow the word used by Arun टटोल doesn't seem hundred percent correct although I have agreed with his answer. It means grope and can have unintended meanings.

An alternative could be छूकर तलाशी which translates to search by touching.

The second version थप्पी लगाकर तलाशी is a literal translation of pat-down search and is therefore a bit ungainly and awkward.

Security Officers are rigorously trained to maintain the highest levels of professionalism. You may request that your pat-down inspection be conducted in private.

Zustimmung Balasubramaniam L.: The term जामातलाशी translates to inspection of clothes, which is not exactly the same as pat-down inspection, but a near thing.

Erklärung:
it is better to to use "Pat-down" for "pat-down" in Hindi too. However, for the conservative people, I have given a conservative alternative as well.
