Erklärung:
Un italiano mi suona di piu un generico ed iniziale «a chi è rivolto» e solo dopo i due punti trasformerei il generico «who» inglese nel più specifico «employee», che può essere operaio, manovratore, guidatore, ecc (o dipendente se preferisce stare sul vago) a seconda delle mansioni.

Non si può fare la traduzione letterale. E operatore di macchina non esaurisce neanche tutte le mansioni descritte di questo operatore.
Sarebbe un operatore di macchina e di zona, senza peraltro essere né montatore meccanico, né strumentista, né programmatore, né collaudatore.
L' "operatore dedicato" si può riferire invece, alla macchina e alla zona.
Se fosse una macchina utensile si potrebbe dire operatore macchina utensile, ma forse nemmeno questa dizione abbraccerebbe tutte i compiti di una tale figura lavorativa.
