Stops come into action when the pressure is too low or too high.
It is desirable that the weights should only be rotated when approximetly the correct pressure is obtained and the weights should not be brought to rest by fully relaesing the pressure and allownig the piston to rotate against its stops under the full load of the weight pile. |
