Study type: Study under long term storage conditions (30°C/65%RH) and under accelerated conditions (40°C/75%RH).
Objective:Assessment of the stability profile of Rimonabant 20 mg film-coated tablets
1 STUDY DESIGN
Long-term stability studies were conducted in the same packaging configurations on five batches having the same qualitative-quantitative composition. However, for three of them, indigotin was included in the coating of the tablets to obtain a light blue color. All the cores are identical and except for the dye, the coating formulation is also identical for the blue and the white tablets.
Stability data obtained after 36 months of storage at 30°C/65%RH and after 6 months at 40°C/75%RH are provided for the five batches.
