"Gain" allows the user to control the sensitiviy of the unit's sonar receiver. This provides some flexibility on what is seen on the display. To see more details, increase the receiver sensitivity by selecting a higher gain. The Depth Control Gain system provides a clear graphic representation of the bottom type and its shape.
