I am translating a patent related to genetics, and I cannot find a translation for "chip array" in the following sentence:
The cDNA-derived primer extension products are purified, and dipensed on a chip array that is pre- loaded with the components needed for MALTI-TOF MS sample preparation.

Erklärung:
No a los chipotes, pero en fin. En Esp. le dicen microarray y no es que le digan micro a "Ray".
