Englisch Begriff oder Satz:Big Al
The document I am translating is by a Dominican where he talks about different Dominican saints, and jokingly gives each of them a nickname, or short form. I have not found any "official" version for them, so I guess I am free to use whatever sounds best in Spanish.
The first one is Big Al. Here's the original sentence:
- There’s “Big Al” (St Albert the Great) who was one of the principal patrons of the last World Youth Day in Cologne.
Nicholas Ferreira: 4:30pm May 23, 2007: More info - Here's the next sentence to give you a better sense of the text:
...He knew just about everything, but was not just a big brain: he had a big heart too. He worked his long life with university students. One of those students was nicknamed “the Dumb Ox”: he was St Thomas Aquinas, perhaps the greatest theologian of all time.
