Erklärung:
... el tatuaje habÃa dejado de ser una cuestión de marcas/cicatrices de vacunas mal dadas/aplicadas (más formal este último término).
Me parece que los tatuajes pasaron a ser justamente eso, tatuajes, y no marcas de vacunas, con lo que probablemente querÃan disimularlos.
