everyone knows how hard it is to glue/bond/cement glass. Integrity is the word for "tenue". Bonding or cementing will make use of glue or cementing compound. Windows speaks for itself as glass (never heard of plastic windows yet) and the word "glace" designates "window(s)" in car and truck industry
