I'm wondering if "moule" is just the casing or something else. Any ideas?

Yes, for the word "coque" (close to "coquille"), I would tend to think "shell" or "casing" would be a good choice. |

Constructed using ATP’s SIP (System in Package) manufacturing technology, all internal electronic components are completely encased in a solid *molding* which acts like a protective shell. This allows the Nano Vision to be completely waterproof, dust proof, and extreme temperature resistant. On top of this protective layer, there is a metal *housing* designed for both functionality and protection.
ici le 'housing' est au dessus du 'molding'
The cover and case can be bonded together ultrasonically, with adhesive films, or using snaps. The cover and/or plastic case can also be formed by a molding process.
il n'y a pas de raison de ne pas traduire par mold/mould

USB FlashDrives have no restrictions to the shape, size, colour, look and feel; simply tell us your requirements and we'll create a design solution for you; we can even custom mould the body to your requirements.

je dois avouer que c'est en pensant à "coque" que j'ai traduit moule par body ou shell... mais pourquoi pas rajouté l'adjectif mould
un corps moulé et une peau de pêche :)

Further down my text, the manufacturer used "une coque". I think that in this case (for "coque") "shell" or "casing" may be more appropriate, no?

Fragesteller: Hi Jamie,
Based on what I found later on in the text (see my response to Danièle), it does seem that housing is more appropriate in this case. Unless the terms can be used interchangeably (moule and coque)?
