Melissa McMahon: 7:57am Apr 29, 2008: it sounds like there's a connection with 'dry' (or 'snap') freezing here - what are the products?
Conor McAuley: 8:32am Apr 29, 2008: Answer - I haven't read the full text yet, but it appears that the product is in fact animal feed for poultry, a kind of concentration or "prémix" as they're calling it.

Erklärung:
I think Pina is on the right track, esp. if these are not actually frozen goods. This is simply a term I came across on the internet when looking at 'cold-processing' references, often presented as a 'proprietary' method for preserving active ingredients in vitamin tablets.

Eg. "Pure-Gar garlic is grown in the high mountain valleys of California and Oregon and processed by a proprietary quick cool dry method..."

cold processing / vacuum drying

Erklärung:
agissant à froid = cold processing

par voie sèche = vacuum drying

I'm not sure about "par voie sèche"... if it is just drying or vacuum drying. Perhaps if you post it as a separate question you will get more answers.

Heat destroys the activity of many vitamins and enzymes. Therefore, cold processing is standard at Life Plus, even though this method of manufacturing is more costly and time consuming.

Because heat destroys the activity of many vitamins, enzymes and phytonutrients, LifeSource Nutrition employs only cold processing manufacturing techniques.

Vacuum drying method preserves vitamin content
05-Jan-2006 - Scientists in Germany claim to have developed a microwave vacuum drying method that preserves the vitamin content of fruit and other foods.

Freeze drying?

All the ingredients were picked at their peak ripeness and then put through a specialized low-temperature, freeze-drying process that same day. This unique process of transforming the foods into a powder form retains all of its enzymes, vitamins, and minerals. Other forms of processing destroy these vital nutrients.
