Französisch Begriff oder Satz:houbon amont de poteau
This term is the "label" for an item on a diagram of the restraining cabling (with cable brake unit) for a rock-fall barrier. The problem is that the diagram is an extremely poor reproduction (been through a copier many times) and so one cannot confidently even identify the numbers on the chart. Furthermore, even the word "houbon" is not visually clear so that I'm not sure whether it is "u", for instance.
Does anybody have an insight? I'd be grateful for any help, as soon as possible since I am now against my deadline.
Adam Thomson (asker): 3:54pm Jan 31, 2004: The diagram seems to show a cable exteding up the hill. Maybe it's the connector to the "upstream" or "uphill" support post..
Yes, of course. This is a WDITOT ("Why didn't I think of that?") question. Many thanks for your help, Louise and Bourth. 4 KudoZ-Punkte wurden für diese Antwort vergeben
