" Apport" refers to supply of goods or services, a contribution of some sort. In this context, the supplier of the production or logistical service to print the work. This is done by means of the subcontract which authorizes and requires said services. Without the legal means of the subcontract, the company doing it would be violating the copyright law. It is acting as the agent of the copyright owner, under the authority of the "subcontract".
Thus a "subcontract" or "subcontract for services" or "subcontract for provision of services."

More context of the whole document is necessary. I favored subcontract since the agreement with the writer granting the copyright to the publisher may be viewed as the Contract and the publisher is expressly claiming the right to subcontract management and production as it sees fit by 'contrat d'apport', or subcontracting. Perhaps we are on target with that or one step off; then it would be service contract rather than subcontract for services. |
