I have part of a contract to translate which means I don't have a lot of context. This clause covers the transfer of intellectual property rights. But what are "documents d'exécution"?
"La remise et l'acceptation par la Société des documents d'exécution remis par l'Agence pour chaque Création ou, en cas de non remise de document d'exécution le paiements des droits convenus dans le devis... emporte automatiquement cession exclusive au profit de la Société..".
I can't work out what the "Créations" are exactly as I don't have the part of the contract where they are defined.

although this can be somewhat misleading. Execution (English) can mean either the making of the contract (as in signing it so that it takes effect) or the performance of the contract (fulfilling the terms and conditions of the contract). It would depend on the context. I would tend toward contract documents.

Widerspruch Philip BOYDEN: The contract is agreed at an early stage of any project. These would be the documents that have to be produced to fulfill the obligations under the contract.

These would be the final documents for any "scheme" that have to be produced for it to go ahead.

As you know, I am a builder, and this is the term that I would use.

It is nice to come to this forum and see some old faces !

Zustimmung Per Incuriam: but use of <forum> betrays nostalgia for another place, best get over that right away. ("Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch'intrate"). Here the stewards fly the plane, the pilots serve the coffee.

  -> I suppose there is a bit of nostalgia, but I don't propose to cry over spilt milk. I think I might learn to use this place properly within a few days, but I suppose I will always be considered a "new boy".
