Richard Benham: This is OK too, but mine gets 3040 Google hits as opposed to 1150. This is not significant in itself, but it does suggest "ethical charter" may be commoner than you think..//"Ethical" can be either concerned with etics or complying with ethical standards.

Richard Benham: A "code" is not the sort of thing you burn, whereas a "charter" can refer either to the code or the piece of paper it's written on. "Ethics charter" is not idiomatic English.

-> agree Richard but as you may see I personally chose ethics charter. However, a "code" CAN be burned in public as a symbolic gesture. Personally don't think you have to use an idiomatic form here.

Nikki Scott-Despaigne: "Code of Ethics" works perfectly well. Note : statutory bodies gvng lib. prof. in such matters differentiate between the Code of (Professional) Conduct and Ethics - not quite the same... (2) Code / charter are the potentially same

-> Tks Nikki. In fact, there is no such thing as a pattern. Code and ethics are sometimes misused as conduct and vice-versa. Unions usually talk of a code while institutions/corporations refer to a charter. Your code of ethics is also acceptable.
