This is about the variable component of a sales remuneration agreement, and says that above a certain level, it is considered as a one-off commission. This much I understand. Sorting out the grammar of the middle is giving me a headache. All help welcome! |

If the final amount of the variable part exceeds the on-target sales commission figure by 100%, this amount etc
What is important is BY 100%
In other words if s/he makes twice as much as the on-target sales figure, then the amount which is allocated as commission is regarded as an exceptional bonus.
At least that's what I think it means!

In answer to your note:
Say on-target sales of 1000 - commission=100 so if salesperson sells 2000 salesperson gets 200, so this 200 (as it's twice as much as the on-target figure) is considered as an exceptional 'over-commission'.

Fragesteller: That's what I think the grammar makes it mean ("de 100%"), but I'm far from sure what it intends to mean...
Fragesteller: Thanks Alain, but having checked with the customer, in this case it is referring to achieving 100% of the target figure and not 100% more. I don't think it's very well worded in the French though.
