There is no "original term": "dérusher" is the verb, dérushage" is the noun and it is editing.
Tony M: 8:30am Aug 25, 2007: NewCal, please don't try and over-simplify things ad absurdum; dérushage is one particular (early) stage in the whole editing process, and there are special terms that are applicable here, as discussed in the original KudoZ question I was referring to.
